The goal is to promote the preservation of the old buildings. The houses have been renovated very differently by their owners. But the core is always an old house. The houses have a very different quality of living than modern concrete building. In most cases, they still convey part of their old story. Most houses have a beautiful sea view and are in a quiet location. Outside the main season, the place is always very quiet. During the high season, some tourists walk through the village during the day. In the evening, only the Platia, the central village square is heavily frequented.
